Our Process
Our three-stage process has been designed to create a memorable and positive experience for our clients. You will be consulted every step of the way, you will be listened to, and we will deliver an inspired and unique design.
1 Understanding your vision and developing a concept
We begin by meeting with you to discuss your requirements and learn about your vision for your home. We explore your ideas, lifestyle, and how you picture yourself enjoying your home, so we can design spaces that are in perfect alignment with how you want to live.
Once you’ve shared your vision, we produce 3D sketches and initial concepts for your review.
2 Refining the concept and finalising your design
We meet with you to discuss and refine the initial concepts and to gather further design information. We then create a Preliminary Drawing Presentation Package, including a comprehensive 3D movie and colour renders. This is one of the most exciting stages of the process, as you begin to see your home come to life!
Together, we finalise the details and make sure you’re completely satisfied with your design. At this stage, we can connect you to our preferred builders to provide an estimated build budget.
3 Producing the final drawings and lodging the Building Consent
Once we have your approval on the finalised design and estimated budget, we produce the Architectural Construction Drawings and associated documentation for the Council and your Builder. We also work with your Engineer for any structural work required, then lodge the final part of the building consent with Council.
Gaining approval on the building consent can take up to 30 days; however, we can often speed this process up with regular contact.
